Mizuki's Kimono Portraits

An absolutely delightful young lady in her kimono at the Kintai. Mizuki is attending college for her degree in music and spent some time on a break to visit her family here in Iwakuni and to participate in her "Seijin no Hi" or "Coming of Age" day. She is the first Japanese national that I have photographed for portraits, and save for the slight language barrier, the session went very well and was a lot of fun. It was a cold day and while I was all bundled up and warm, Mizuki braved the chill and we came away with some great images of this amazing and beautiful young woman.
